Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to report the effect of Oriental medicine on spontaneous osteonecrosis of the knee.
Methods : Patients received Oriental treatment such as Bee-Venom therapy and acupuncture & moxibustion. The improvement of the pain intensity and recovery of gait was observed.
Results : During five weeks of treatment, patient``s knee pain and gait disturbance were improved.
Conclusions : In this case, Oriental treatment on spontaneous osteonecrosis was effective to reduce pain and recover gait.
